What’s On This Week – CBD

  • ACMI Preschoolers (Fridays) – Fun for 3 to 5-year-olds to explore “Marshmallow Laser Feast: Works of Nature” with parent, grandparent, or carer. Connect art and science through movement and play, engaging young learners with mesmerizing artworks.
  • BBC Earth Experience (Mon 1 Jan – Sun 28 Apr) – The BBC Earth Experience at the MCEC is an all-ages interactive journey through the seven continents powered by state-of-the-art technology never before seen in Australia.
  • Kids Passport Queen Victoria Market (Daily) – Kids Passport Queen Victoria Market (Every market day) – Collect your passport, then journey around the Market collecting stamps from our friendly traders, before making your way to the Queen Victoria Market Visitor Hub to claim your prize.
  • SEALIFE Melbourne Aquarium (Daily) – See some of the world’s most incredible animals, including penguins, a 6-metre-long crocodile and thousands of tropical fish, plus the newly reopened oceanarium.
  • Storytime at The Library at the Dock (Thursdays) – Reading, songs and rhymes. This library is always worth a special trip.

What’s On This Week – North

  • PlayGym (Fridays) – This parent-assisted program is designed to provide new experiences for you and your child while enhancing your young one’s gross and fine motor skills.
  • Tiny Tots, Kew (Mondays) – Providing a fun space for your child to socialise and interact with kids their age, and to help develop early literacy and communication skills.
  • Public ride session (Wed 28 Feb) – Bring your scooter or bike and invite some friends to Kew Traffic School, as children ages 6 and under learn traffic rules and play in the miniature village houses.
  • Keeper Kids Melbourne Zoo (Daily) – Educator-led daily activities that promote learning through storytelling, craft and play.
  • Little Explorer Wednesdays – Each week your minis will explore their creativity through a variety of fun (and free!) kids’ craft activities.

What’s On This Week – South

  • Prahran Market Mini Marketeers (Tuesdays) – Enjoy free, guided activities teaching toddlers the fundamentals of eating well and putting the ‘yum’ in healthy food choices.
  • Young At Art (Tuesdays) – With the guidance of an experienced early childhood educator, participants work on a different hands-on creative activity every week, using materials from the take-home art materials box supplied each session.
  • Nature Play (Tuesdays) – Come along to Alex Wilkie Nature Reserve for Nature Play, an outdoor, child-led playgroup session facilitated by a qualified ranger.
  • TwistED Science (Daily) – An award-winning, science-based indoor play centre that aims to help you and your children be curious, create, and most importantly connect through the use of hands-on participation.
  • Myuna Farm – Pat guinea pigs and rabbits, see snakes, lizards and other reptiles. Take a scenic train ride or pony ride. Feed the animals, and more!

  • Busy Bodies Chirnside Park (Tuesdays) – Join the fun each Tuesday during the school term for FREE activity sessions tailored for pre-school aged children.
  • Kids Mornings (Wednesdays) – A fun, free activity every week at Westfield Knox!

What’s On This Week – West

  • Kids Club (Tuesdays) – Join Pacific Werribee for free weekly fun as we together learn, create, and imagine through art and science.
  • AquaPlay Group (Tues, Wed, & Thursdays) – A 30-minute casual swim class for infants 3-18 months old. Learn water safety in a fun, social, safe, and relaxed environment.
