The Eagles late-season collapse last year (six losses in their last seven games including playoffs) was characterized by horrendous defensive play. They surrendered 27 or more points in five of thos seven games and 30-plus four times. While they picked up a victory in Week 1 against Green Bay down in Brazil, the defense was highly suspect in that 34-29 win. The Packers amassed 414 total yards of offense including 251 through the air but were undone by ten penalties.
The Falcons couldn’t muster much in their 18-10 Week 1 loss to Pittsburgh, but the Steelers have an elite defense (which only gave up six points to Denver in Week 2). Atlanta is going to have a much easier time moving the ball against Philly.
ATL vs PHI Same-Game Parlay Pick #2: Kirk Cousins 250+ Passing Yards
The second leg, Kirk Cousins to go over 249.5 passing yards, goes hand-in-hand with the first. A lot was made of Cousins’ primetime struggles early in his career, but that’s a thing of the past. The veteran pivot has been rock-solid on MNF over the last half decade, including a sensational performance against the mighty 49ers defense last year.
Cousins threw for 378 yards on 77.8% passing with two TDs and one pick in a 22-17 Minnesota victory. That was his third victory in his last four MNF games, which dates all the way back to 2020.
The Falcons have a solid young receiving corps, including 2021 fourth-overall pick Kyle Pitts, who’s capable of being an elite tight end in the right situation. There is more than enough weaponry for Cousins to hit 250-plus yards tonight, especially as Atlanta is likely going to be playing catch-up against an Eagle offense that was positively dynamic in Week 1.

The Eagle defense gave up four catches to Green Bay running backs on six targets last week. They allowed an average of 32.1 receiving yards to running backs last year, and Bijan is way above average as a pass-catcher.
