Carlton recruit and former Gold Coast Suns player Elijah Hollands has pleaded guilty to cocaine possession.
Hollands pleaded guilty in Southport Magistrates Court on Tuesday to one count of drug possession.
The 21-year-old was directed to attend a drug diversion course and no conviction was recorded.
“I made a mistake that I’m extremely remorseful for,” he said outside court.
“It’s not only impacted me but my family as well and I’d like to thank both the Carlton footy club and the Gold Coast Suns for their continued support over the last few weeks.”
