After five English Premier League games take place on Saturday, EPL fans will be treated to five more matches on Sunday. It’s going to be an action-packed slate, and these are our free Premier League betting picks for those games.
Chelsea vs Aston Villa
Chelsea have played awfully in their first five EPL games and only have five points. They have lacked a consistent goalscoring threat, and Aston Villa should be able to deal with their attack. Villa have been very dangerous offensively, and they sit in seventh place through five games with 11 goals scored. We expect Aston Villa to continue their stellar attacking play and cover the spread at Stamford Bridge.
Aston Villa +0.5
Brighton & Hove Albion vs Bournemouth
Bournemouth have yet to win a game in this EPL campaign and have struggled to score. While the Cherries have been solid defensively, Brighton are on another level this year and should be able to break through Bournemouth’s backline. The Seagulls have 12 points through five matches and have scored a stunning 15 goals. At home, Brighton have won two games by more than two goals, and they have proven they are capable of blowing teams out.
Brighton to win
Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur
In an intriguing top-four clash that could go either way, we will take one of Arsenal’s best players to score a goal. Martin Odegaard has firmly established himself as one of the pre-eminent attacking midfielders in the Premier League and has netted two goals this season. He has had at least three shots in each of his last four EPL games, and his activity in the opposing third makes him very dangerous.
Martin Odegaard anytime goalscorer
Liverpool vs West Ham United
While Mohamed Salah has only scored two goals through five games, he is making a huge impact in every game, and in this match, Liverpool should have a lot of opportunities. The Reds have scored three goals in each of their two games at home this season, and it could be a similar story this weekend. Salah scored in each of those games, and we like his odds to get another.
