Borac Banja Luka will take a narrow one-goal lead to Albania on Wednesday night (20:00) as they face Egnatia Rrogozhine in the second leg of their first-round Champions League clash.

Read on for my Egnatia Rrogozhine vs Borac Banja Luka prediction, as well as the latest team news and match odds.

Egnatia Rrogozhine vs Borac Banja Luka Betting Tips

  • Borac Banja Luka to win (90 minutes) @ 7/5
  • Under 2.5 goals (90 minutes) @ 8/11

Egnatia were just seconds away from claiming a share of the spoils last week in Bosnia-Herzegovina, but Damir Hrelja’s 90th-minute strike ensured Borac claimed a narrow win.

The hosts will be without two of their starters this week after being reduced to nine men, and that should have an effect on Wednesday’s proceedings.

Team News

Egnatia’s Arbin Zejnullai is suspended after his red card in the 58th minute of last week’s first leg. The midfielder is likely to be replaced in the middle of the park by Alessandro Ahmetaj, who recently joined the Albanian club from Slovenian side Gorica.

Defender Edison Ndreca is also suspended after he collected two yellow cards in the first meeting.

Borac defender Zoran Kvrzic was subbed at half-time last week, so he will do well to retain his place, but manager Mladen Zizovic has a fully fit squad to choose from.

Egnatia Rrogozhine vs Borac Banja Luka Odds

Egnatia are 13/8 – or a 38.1% chance – to win on home soil on Wednesday, while the draw is 11/5, and an away victory for Borac is priced at 7/5.

Both teams to score is available at 4/5, while odds of 10/11 are available, while those that fancy a high-scoring battle can back over 2.5 goals at 1/1.

Borac Banja Luka to win (90 minutes) @ 7/5

While Borac left it late last week to seal a first-leg victory, they should have the upper hand this time around.

The defeat on Wednesday was Egnatia’s first in four games, but without two regular starters, they are likely to be up against it.

Borac have remained unbeaten during their pre-season fixtures with two wins and a draw, and they should be able to pick up another victory on the road.

Borac Banja Luka to win at 7-5

Under 2.5 goals (90 minutes) @ 8/11

Egnatia did well last week to keep the scoreline respectable, especially after playing most of the second half with 10 men. Eventually the pressure told, but they will look to deploy similar tactics in the second leg.

Egnatia ended last season with three consecutive wins in all competitions, but none of those matches saw more than one goal scored.

Borac have kept successive clean sheets, and they should be able to shade another close encounter.

Under 2.5 goals at 8-11
