Diablo 4 Season 2 Uniques Worth Farming From Bosses (+Recommended Builds)

Diablo 4 Season 2 Uniques Worth Farming From Bosses (+Recommended Builds)

List of All Uniques You Can Farm From S2 Bosses

In Diablo 4 Season 2, Season of Blood you can target Uniques, as well as Uber Uniques.

This opens up a lot of builds and options during the Season as a lot of these items are incredibly powerful.

There will be 5 bosses you will be able to farm starting in Season 2: Grigore, Varshan, Lord Zir, Beast In Ice, and Duriel.

In this guide, we cover all the Uniques that are worth targeting and linking t the meta builds that they’re included in.

Grigiore

grigiore uniques

Sorcerer (Blyndside)

Staff of Lam Esen and Gloves of Illuminator are basically build-enabling items, Lam Esen for Charged bBolts and Illuminator for Fireball. Neither are in meta right now, Illuminator isn’t a “required” item, but it is useful. Iceheart Brais are okay early, but lack defensives and aren’t worth farming for.

  • Sorcerer Builds
    • Staff of Lam Esen
      • Charged Bolts
    • Gloves of the Illuminator

Necromancer (Ruse)

Howl from Below is good for Infinimst and Greaves of the Empty Tomb is good for Sever. I wouldn’t say either are amazing items on their own, and they’re just a bump above their legendary counterparts.

  •  Necromancer Builds

Rogue (Sanctum)

Grasp of Shadow is going to be good in Dual Core Skill builds if it’s +6 Core I think. Word of Hakan got buffed but honestly, Rain of Arrows needs damage and QoL buffs, it comes out way too slow. Penitent Greaves is insane for Rogues, it enables a lot of builds although not the Tier S builds this season. Windforce isn’t great.

Druid (Ace)

This boss isn’t very useful for Druid, the best item is probably Hunter’s Zenith but it has not been field tested yet, this season will see Shapeshifting builds shine and this item might make a splash.

  • Druid Builds

Barbarian (Ruse)

Magnum Opus is used in Double Swing and Thorns. Rage of Harrogath and Ancients’ Oath are good uniques but aren’t looking to be used in anything.

Varshan

varshan uniques

Sorcerer (Blyndside)

Staff of Endless Rage is the second unique required for Fireball, unlike Illuminator, Endless Rage could be considered “required” but Staves aren’t meta right now due to weapon stats not having huge multipliers on them anymore, giving the offhand insane value. Esu’s Hairloom and Raiments of the Infinite are both generic items that can be used in many builds like Arch Lash or Ball Lightning.

Necromancer (Ruse)

Bloodless Scream for Sever and Deathless Visage for Bone Spear. Deathless is okay but not a huge deal and Bloodless Scream is pretty good for Sever.

Rogue (Sanctum)

Condemnation is obviously great in the correct build. Not having Dmg vs CC and not buffing Poison Dmg makes it less of a priority this season. All the other items are bad.

  • Rogue Builds
    • Most items aren’t great.

Druid (Ace)

Mad Wolf’s Glee and Greatstaff of the Crone, will be meta, this is one of the most important if not the most important boss to farm. Low life builds, basic attack builds and all types of poison builds will want these items.

Barbarian (Ruse)

Fields of Crimson are used in Bleed Barb, which is looking to be one of the top specs.

Lord Zir

Sorcerer (Blyndside)

Esadora’s Overflowing Cameo is an item that can be used in Arc Lash and Ball Lightning, though it has less effect within Ball Lightning as the main source of damage is covered by Ball Lightning. Overall, I wouldn’t say this is a boss worth farming, unless you really wanted Endless Rage or Raiments.

  • Sorcerer Build
    • Esadora’s Overflowing Cameo
      • This could be used in any build that uses Unstable Currents, but it isn’t required.

Necromancer (Ruse)

Deathless Visage and Greaves of the Empty Tomb are both decent for Bone Spear and Sever respectively. Lidless Wall could end up being good in a Bone Storm build but currently doesn’t have great use.

Rogue (Sanctum)

Asheara’s Khanjar is very strong for Poison builds but there’s no room for it on the Combo Point version and missing Ultimate Damage + Core Skill Damage two stats that work as multipliers for the Ultimate version is too much. The rest of the items are bad. Eyes in the Dark could maybe have some use this season but I doubt it.

Druid (Ace)

All the good items that this boss can drop they also drop from Varshan, I think farming Varshan is a better alternative. The one exception could be Fleshrender but at the moment the item still fails at finding its spot in the meta.

  • Druid Builds
    • Fleshrender
      • Might be good, no meta build at the moment though.

Barbarian (Ruse)

Magnum Opus is good for Thorns and Double Swing, Overkill is great for Death Blow, Razorplate is great for Thorns.

  • Barbarian Builds

Beast In Ice

beast in ice uniques

Sorcerer (Blyndside)

The Oculus is the only item that hasn’t been covered yet. It’s usually not a great item, but this Season it combines really well with the Vampire Power Metamorphosis, which turns our evade into a bat evade which takes priority over the random teleport unique power of Oculus, making this actually somewhat worth farming for certain builds as the mobility is unparalleled.

  • Sorcerer Builds
    • The Oculus
      • Has potential on any build that uses the vampire power Metamorphosis.

Necromancer (Ruse)

Bloodless Scream, Howl from Below, and Ring of Mendeln are all very useful items in certain builds, Mendeln as most know is great in Minions, Howl for a Corpse Explosion build, and Bloodless Scream in a Sever build.

  • Necromancer Builds

Rogue (Sanctum)

Eaglehorn is pretty good for Penshot but Penshot is really bad. Tassets of the Dawning Sky seem like a strong defensive option against bosses.

  • Rogue Builds
    • Eaglehorn
      • Penshot
    • Condemnation
      • Penshot

Druid (Ace)

None of the items are useful for Druid, this is a boss you can skip, with maybe the exception of Fists of Fate, but it would be for a niche Pet build at best.

  • Druid Builds
    • Druids can skip this boss when it comes to items.

Barbarian (Ruse)

Fields of Crimson is great for Bleed Barb. Everything else is good but not used currently.

  • Barbarian Builds
    • Same as a previous boss.

Duriel

duriel uniques

Sorcerer (Blyndside)

Flamescar is used in an Incinerate build, though it isn’t meta. Blue Rose has potential, although there are no concrete builds yet, I could see this used in Ice Shards or Blizzard.

  • Sorcerer Builds
    • Flamescar
      • Incinerate
    • Blue Rose
    • Harlequin Crest
      • Every build honestly.
    • Ring of the Starless Skies
      • Ice Shards potential, any other build with a Core skill as a primary use.
    • Tibault’s Will
      • Solid synergy with anything that uses the Vampire Power Metamorphosis.

Necromancer (Ruse)

Virtually every drop is very good. This boss is vital to farm for almost every build for Necro.

  • Necromancer Builds
    • Harlequin Crest
      • Great with every build except minions.
    • Most other items are worth farming.

Rogue (Sanctum)

Cowl of the Nameless insane item BiS for Poison Rogue. Scoundrel’s Leathers BiS for Trap Rogue. Obviously, most Uber uniques are really good.

Druid (Ace)

Tempest Roar, Andariels’ Visage, and Harlequin Crest are top-tier items for any build running either a low-life Bulwark engine or any form of poison. Tempest Roar will also be in any type of build running Tornado.

Barbarian (Ruse)

Tuskhelm is used in virtually every build. Grandfather is insane as well, and Harlequin is nutty.

  • Barbarian Builds
    • Grandfather
      • Every build could use this
    • Tuskhelm
      • Every build can use this.
    • Harlequin Crest
      • Also, every build is likely better than Tuskhelm.
