Crittenden, Peninsula, Pinot Noir, Mornington Peninsula, 2023
Dark ruby to garnet hue. Floral, fragrant, potpourri, soak cherries and raspberries, chinotto, blood orange bitters, sharp gunflint tang, chocolatey oak and just sliced thick salumi, some crushed kitchen herb nd a little ash. Elegant with a rasp of fine, tight tannin. Savory front, earthy and twiggy before flowing into raspberry/ dark strawberry fruit. Brightness with fresh acidity and a long finish. Very good Pinot Noir value.
