From the team at Fourth Wave Wines. A combination of Nicholas CRAmpton and Aaron MERcer. From the Coppabella and Wondalma vineyards in Tumbarumba NSW. One parcel de-stemmed. One parcel 50% whole bunches in the ferment (foot stomped, too). Varying use of Foudre and puncheons (12% new oak across the whole blend).
CRAMER, Pinot Noir, Tumbarumba, 2023
A mixed and complex nose with ripe red to black cherry and strawberry fruit, underpinned with crushed kitchen herbs, sweaty ‘taco seasoning mix’, bitumen, singed orange rind, charcuterie, milk chocolate wafer and raspberry jelly crystals. The palate a fine mix between plush silky fruit, angled meaty depth and savoury herbs. Puckering tannins and bright acidity through a long finish. Tasty stuff indeed.
