Cowboys vs Chargers SGP Picks: Chargers Alt Spread +4.5

The the line may be shortening on the Chargers, with 55% of the ATS handle in the Cowboys vs Chargers public betting coming in on LA, but they’re still 1.5-point underdogs. And that still makes them a good bet to tease or take on the alternate spread in our Cowboys vs Chargers same game parlay picks.

The Chargers are fresh coming off of a bye and playing at home, albeit in a stadium that may have more Cowboys fans. But still, they’re rested, didn’t need to travel and the Cowboys last got beatdown to the 49ers 42-10.

The Cowboys have three wins over teams that have combined for a 5-13 record SU. And they’ve lost to the Cardinals, giving Arizona their only win on the season.

Los Angeles started off 0-2, but have gotten back to .500 after back-to-back wins. The Chargers are a hard team to trust. But Justin Herbert isn’t. He has seven TDs to just one INT this year and is third in completion percentage.

The Chargers defense has holes all over and give up the most passing yards per game but Dak Prescott and the Cowboys don’t really push the ball downfield this season. Prescott’s 6.6 yards per pass is way down in 24th among starting QBs.

This looks like whoever has the ball last could be in contention to snatch the win and with the Chargers high-powered offense that ranks fifth in PPG, I don’t see them getting blow out.

While I’m picking the Chargers ATS in my Cowboys vs Chargers picks and think they could pull the small upset, you can’t deny how bad their pass defense has been. If Prescott can’t take advantage of this matchup, well he may not find a better opportunity to open up the Cowboys passing game.

So it’s hard to not target someone from the Dallas side to get involved from a receiving standpoint when looking at Dallas vs Los Angeles props.

CeeDee Lamb only has one TD on the year but he easily leads the team in targets (35), catches (27) and receiving yards (358).

So far he’s had catch totals of 4, 13, 7, 6 and 5, making him to grab 4+ receptions a great selection in our Cowboys vs Chargers same game parlay.

Cowboys vs Chargers SGP Picks: Austin Ekeler Anytime TD

Austin Ekeler hasn’t played since Week 1 but is now healthy and expected to have a full workload on MNF. When we last saw Ekeler, he was racking up 117 yards on the ground, 47 through the air and scoring a touchdown.

Now the Cowboys defense is much better than the Dolphins, but still, Ekeler has scored a TD in six of his last seven games going back into last season, totalling nine scores in those seven games with multiple scores in three of them.

Last season he found the endzone in 12/18 games including the playoffs, totalling 15 rushing TDs and 5 receiving.
