No mention of regions for the fruit, so Australia it is. No mention of fermentation, but with the bead, possibly transfer. David Horne is the winemaker. Classy packaging.
Corryton Burge, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Australia, NV
Very pale hue. Tight, fast, excited beading. Nose of salt spritz, ocean pools, sweet brioche, green melon rind, lemon shortbread and freeze dried strawberries. ‘Aperitif’ style. Medium mousse. Neat palate of just enough richness to balance sharp acidity with a good chalky finish. Short-ish finish but balanced and simple elegance. A great match for a Fisherman’s Basket.
