I have a DRO. My partners mother has died leaving him with inheritance from her home and possibly some savings. Will this affect my DRO? We have a low income. I’m a carer for my partner who is disabled and he is receiving pip as well as a joint universal credit claim. There is no way he will be willing to pay off my debt. Can he be forced to do this?
