Ok but why would they be checking for at this stage? Do you know? Could it be to do with them making a decision or using it to make a decision? I know when I wrote to them years ago to ask them for help or to write off the loan due to affordability they refused and game me points why – one of which was there were no defaults etc on my file for 6 months prior to having the loan which was a lie because I did. So in my claim
I made them aware there were defaults. So was thinking are they checking that out maybe. Otherwise it’s very random isn’t it.
