Nick Singleton Rushing Yards
Penn State running back Nick Singleton should have a big day on the ground Saturday facing an Indiana rush defense that is dead-last in the Big 10. The Hoosiers are surrounding 174.4 yards per game and face a PSU rushing offense that ranks second in the league (181 YPG).

Singleton was held to just 48 yards on nine carries (5.3 ypc) last weekend against Ohio State, which is part of why we like targeting the Nittany Lions’ star in Week 9. OSU’s defense is significantly better than IU’s, and FanDuel is listing Singleton’s over/under this week at only 67.5.
Singleton’s yards per carry has dipped from 6.8 last season to 4.2 this year, but he remains a key part of this Penn State offense. He went off for 73 rushing yards vs the Hoosiers last season, and considering the IU defense has taken a step back, we project a big bounce-back game from Singleton on Saturday.
- Pick: Nick Singleton OVER 67.5 Rushing Yards (-114 at FD)
Jack Plummer Passing Touchdowns
Turning to passing touchdowns in the CFB Week 9 player props, we like taking the “under” on Louisville quarterback Jack Plummer in his matchup with Duke. Plummer has thrown for just a single touchdown in five of his past six games, and now faces one of the country’s top secondaries.

— Duke Football (@DukeFOOTBALL) October 26, 2023
The Blue Devils are only allowing 179 yards per game through the air, including 5.3 yards per attempt and 0.7 TDs per game. In recent games against Notre Dame and Florida State, the Blue Devils allowed just one passing TD to Sam Hartman and two passing TDs to Heisman contender Jordan Travis.
FanDuel is offering Jack Plummer passing touchdowns at 1.5 on Saturday, which places great value on the under. The Louisville offense will likely need to run the ball to have success against this defense, and Duke features a dominant ground game themselves that will overall limit the Cardinals’ offensive possessions.
- Pick: Jack Plummer UNDER 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-115 at DK)
