Gambero Rosso is the leading platform for the promotion of Italian Wine in the world. Each year they have a tasting of all Italian wines submitted to them and they rank the wines with the top wines given the title of Tre Bicchieri, Three Cups in English. With these Tre Bicchieri wines, Gambero Rosso visits select cities around the world to visit and offer these wines for tasting to the Trade and public, and of course, look for distributors. Vancouver is one of the lucky cities to be visited by Gambero Rosso. This is the first event since the COVID lockdown. You can taste wines from across Italy, red, white and sparkling wines. I attended the Trade event and tasted wines that were new to me, as well as wines that I have enjoyed in the past. Below is the list of my favourite wines from the Gambero Rosso Tre Bicchieri tasting. Some are currently available in BC and some are yet to come. Enjoy.
