Catterick is an undulating left-handed track where previous course form, as so often, is very highly regarded.

A course-and-distance scorer – always a massive positive in my book. Excellent second under this jockey Harry Russell just 8 days ago, same mark (55), and acts on quick ground. Last win was off 57 – so I think her turn is very, very near.

6.55 Turner Girl
Newmarket raider from Ed Dunlop’s, and another who’s won here before at the trip.
Last win was on firm ground, off this very mark, and she’s getting plenty of weight from likely fav Scottish Dancer. Joanna Mason takes the ride – a fine pilot, and the granddaughter of the great Yorkshire-based trainer Mick Easterby.
