Case study: Finding Tu at the bottom of a cliff

Imagine that your dog goes missing and you realise that she’s at the bottom of a cliff, can you imagine anything more terrifying? Well, that’s exactly what happened to Ian and Linda…

“Last Friday our dog Tu went missing, using the tracking I was able to infer that she was at the foot of a two-hundred-foot cliff. Called the coastguard, who roped down and found her alive, with her obvious injuries, they could not chance lifting her up the cliff so an inshore lifeboat was called, and she was taken to Filey. She was found to be severely hypothermia and to have pneumothorax and hip damage. The lung has been reinflated and mending and surgery on her hip is due tomorrow. Because I was able to tell the coastguard where she was, they knew where to go( we hadn’t seen her fall ) without this info, they would not know where she was and would probably have told us to look inland. So we can say it saved her life. Word has passed around and several people are considering trackers for their dogs as a result. I have told these people we use a PitPat.”

Ian and Linda Jack

If you want to take Ian and Linda up on their recommendation and make sure you can quickly and easily find your dog, then it’s time to get your paws on a PitPat Dog GPS Tracker. It’s a simple thing but as Ian and Linda found, it could save your dog’s life.
