TORONTO, July 23, 2024 – Woodbine Entertainment is thrilled to announce that Juno-nominated singer-songwriter LU KALA will be the feature performer at the 165th King’s Plate, the first leg of the OLG Canadian Triple Crown, taking place Saturday, August 17th at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto.
LU KALA’s pop song ‘Pretty Girl Era’ made her a viral sensation, with more than 22 million streams on Spotify. Other fan favourites ‘Hotter Now’ and new single ‘Who’s Gonna’ feature the Canadian artist’s passionate vocals alongside undeniably empowering lyrics.
LU KALA will be performing those hits and more inside the Hats & Horseshoes party, located outside of the main grandstand. The party also features a live DJ, multiple big screens for viewing the horse racing action, and delicious food and beverage options available for purchase.
