Harbaugh delivering wins
With his early-season plantar fascia injury behind him, Justin Herbert looks fully in command of the Bolts offense. The 26-year-old passed for 164 yards and a TD and scrambled nine times for 32 yards and another score in Sunday’s triumph over the Titans. In the previous two wins over the Browns and Saints, Herbert passed for over 279 yards with two scores in each game.
Taking over last year’s 5-12 team, Jim Harbaugh has his team firmly in the AFC playoff picture at 6-3. His move to bring Michigan defensive coordinator Jesse Minter with him to LA looks like a master stroke. The Chargers defense has 18 sacks in the past three games.

Bengals desperate for win
Joe Burrow leads the NFL with 2,672 passing yards and his 24 passing TDs ties him for the lead league. Yet, somehow the Bengals are two games under .500 and in danger of missing the postseason.
While Cincinnati’s defense is much improved in recent weeks, they crumbled down the stretch in last Thursday’s 35-34 loss to the Ravens, allowing Lamar Jackson to complete 11 of 13 passes for 197 yards and three TDs.
Los Angeles vs Cincinnati
Los Angeles is a 1-point home favorite at SoFi Stadium with the over/under set at 47.5 points. Cincinnati has the NFL’s sixth-highest scoring offense, averaging 27 points per game. While the Chargers rank No. 19 (20.7 PPG), they have put up over 26 points in each of the past three contests.
Jim Harbaugh’s defense is limiting opponents to the fewest points per game (13.1) in the league, and they’re top-ten against both the run (110.6 YPG) and the pass (191.6 YPG), Meanwhile, Lou Anarumo’s unit is bottom-ten in points allowed (26.2) and passing yards allowed (220.2).

Will Chase explode again?
Ja’Marr Chase made 11 catches for 264 yards and 3 TDs in an electrifying performance against Baltimore last Thursday. Given that he now leads the NFL with 981 receiving yards and 10 receiving TDs, the Bengals probably wish they wrapped him up to a new contract when they had a chance.
Unfortunately for Zac Taylor’s squad, Tee Higgins will likely miss yet another game with a quad injury.
Best Bet
With three-straight wins, the Chargers are rolling. But all six of their victories this season have come against teams not currently in the playoff picture.
We like a desperate Bengals team to win on the road (+105) in a tight Sunday night game.
