BTTS Tips: A 6/1 fourfold for Sunday’s Football Coupon

  • By Admin

There are some exciting matches taking place on Sunday and we have picked out four of them to build an exciting BTTS four-fold with odds of 6/1 at the time of writing.

BTTS Tips – Sunday 27th August 2023

  • Back BTTS in Watford vs Blackburn @ 8/11
  • Back BTTS in Newcastle United vs Liverpool @ 2/5
  • Back BTTS in Bayern Munich vs Augsburg @ 10/11
  • Back BTTS in Villarreal vs Barcelona @ 8/15
  • Four-fold price – 6/1

Watford and Blackburn go head-to-head in the Championship on Sunday afternoon and on paper this is a clash between two sides hoping to be around the play-off picture.

The Hornets started the season brightly with a 4-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers but have failed to find the back of the net in their last two fixtures – a 1-0 defeat to Stoke City and a goalless draw with Plymouth Argyle. Blackburn, meanwhile, have scored in all three of their Championship games thus far and have looked impressive under Jon Dahl Tomasson.

Both sides look prone to conceding goals and they both possess strong attacking options, which could mean a high-scoring game on the cards.

Newcastle United were narrowly beaten 1-0 by Manchester City in their previous Premier League fixture but they hammered Aston Villa 5-1 on the opening weekend. They entertain Liverpool this year in an early top-four clash and both sides have quality in abundance in their attacks to hurt one another.

They have both conceded in their opening two fixtures this term and have shown they can score goals. Expect this one to have a few goals fly in, especially if the likes of Alexander Isak, Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz are on the pitch.

Over in Germany, reigning Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich take on Augsburg after hitting Werder Bremen for four last weekend.

Augsburg themselves scored four goals in their previous fixture as they contested a 4-4 draw with Borussia Monchengladbach. This will be Bayern’s first taste of league action at the Allianz Arena this season but it may not be straightforward given Augsburg showing their eye for goal last week too. Harry Kane and Leroy are both off the mark for the hosts, which is a good sign for this particular pick.

In La Liga, Villarreal welcome Barcelona on Sunday evening and there is a sense that these teams can both get on the scoresheet.

After being shut out by Getafe on the opening day, Barca responded with a 2-0 victory over Cadiz last time out as Pedri and Ferran Torres got off the mark. Villarreal won 1-0 at Mallorca last week thanks to Gerard Moreno’s second-half strike. They lost 2-1 to Real Betis before that, though, but they did manage to record 18 shots on goal.

This feels like a game where Robert Lewandowski will step up and open his account for the campaign and who knows, maybe the same can happen for Villarreal’s Ben Brereton Diaz?
