There are no less than five meetings across the UK and Ireland to get stuck into on Tuesday, 11th July, and our full focus here will be on the seven-race card at Brighton, with the action running from 18:00 until 21:00.
The third race on the card – the Sky Sports Racing HD Virgin 519 Handicap at 19:00 – is Betfred’s ‘Extra Place Race’ that will see three places paid out instead of two for each-way bets at a fifth of the odds.

The At The Races App Form Study Classified Stakes over 5f 60y gets proceedings under way at 18:00 and this looks to be a great chance for NOTRE MAISON to make it three wins in a row.
Stuart Kittow’s charge picked up a course and distance victory on June 13th and the four-year-old needed little improvement when striking next time out at Ffos Las over 5f, beating Kodi Dancer by a head.
With there being a lack of depth in this opener, Notre Maison, who has Neil Callen back on board, looks primed to rack up a third triumph on the bounce and continue her impressive form.
19:00 – Mrembo @ 7/2
Chips And Rice could take some beating in the 19:00 now back in Class 5 company, but given the fact there are three places being paid out in this Extra Place Race, it’s worth taking an each-way chance on MREMBO to claim the spoils.
Jonathan Portman’s charge is one of only three in the field to have done this 1m 1f 207y distance – the others being Chips And Rice and Queen’s Company – and the four-year-old also arrives on the back of a victory at Newbury over 1m 3f.
The bay filly has only been given a 3lb rise for that success but it may not be enough to stop her from landing another victory. Mrembo should be involved at the finish and is expected, at the very least, to place.
20:30 – Mister X @ 9/4
The penultimate race at Brighton is the At The Races App Form Study Handicap over 5f 215y at 20:30 and preference here is for MISTER X, who should have enough to claim the spoils on the south coast.
Stuart Williams’ charge has the highest OR in this eight-runner field at 62 and is the only entrant to have recorded a C&D victory, which came in September 2022 in a year that ended with three wins in total.
Mister X’s latest win came at Lingfield over 7f 1y in March, edging out Originally, and he produced a solid effort when ending up third in a handicap at Brighton last time out.
Another bold showing is expected from the bay colt, who has regular rider Luke Catton in the saddle again.
