Apple TV+’s highly successful series For All of Mankind is set in an alternate world where the space race never ended. In the show, Russia was the first to make it to the moon, which motivates America to catch up. Joining the series this season are Tyner Rushing and Toby Kebbell.
The Curse

When the trailer for The Curse debuted at the New York Film Festival, the internet ate it up. Showtime’s “genre-bending” series, hailing from the minds of Nathan Fielder and Benny Safdie, explores how an alleged curse disturbs the relationship of a newly married couple trying to conceive a child—all while being the stars of their own home-improvement show. Emma Stone also stars.
The Crown

Netflix’s Emmy-winning royal drama series, The Crown, comes to an end this season. The series presents a fictionalized version of events in the life of Queen Elizabeth II, played by Imelda Staunton. Season 6 will continue with the focus on Princess Diana’s (Elizabeth Debicki) story and other major royal events from 1997 to 2005—such as the wedding of Prince Charles (now King Charles III) and Camilla, Princess Diana’s death, and the budding romance of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Lots of ground to cover in the final season! Netflix will drop the show in two parts, with the first four episodes releasing today and the rest in December.
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters

Nothing beats some good kaiju action! Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is set in the Monsterverse, which includes films like Kong: Skull Island, Godzilla vs. Kong, and more. A rabbit hole of secrets and monsters awaits in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters. Scott Pilgrim Takes Off

Based on both the graphic novel and the 2010 film, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off is a new anime series from Netflix. Interestingly, it looks like an anime remake of the film, but hopefully, there are some surprises in store. Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O’Malley is also involved in the series. Returning (from the film) to lend their voices for the series are Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Culkin, Anna Kendrick, Chris Evans, Jason Schwartzman, Alison Pill, Brie Larson, and more. All eight episodes of the colorful, dynamic, and exciting-looking anime adaptation drop on the same day.
Squid Game: The Challenge

Amid Covid, Squid Game took the world by storm in 2021. It became, and still is, Netflix’s biggest show ever and has inspired the streamer to recreate the series as a real-life reality competition. Deaths not included. In this show, 456 people join the competition in the hopes of winning 4.56 million dollars. The competition will tide us over until the release of Season 2 of Squid Game.
Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays

Superstar Selena Gomez is a woman of many talents. She’s a singer, actor, producer, businesswoman, and also, a home cook. The multi-hyphenate has a Max cooking series called Selena + Chef, which is truly a delightful watch. The series sees Gomez take to her home kitchen with celebrity chefs, whipping up delectable meals. The series is back with four cozy specials for the Holidays that will see Gomez joined by chefs Eric Adjepong, Alex Guarnaschelli, Michael Symon, and Claudette Zepeda. It’s going to be a treat!
Virgin River
