5 OP Mid Laners for Patch 13.24

We’re now at the end of the season, with Patch 13.24 being the last major patch of the year. The ending is nearing, so it is important that you get those climbing shoes on so you get the final rank that you desire before the season ends and those rewards are locked in!

In this article, we will discuss 5 of the best S-Tier Mid laners you should pick up and master this patch.

If you want to learn more tips on how to play as any of these champions, head over to the Mobalytics’ Champion Page.

There are some other strong S-tier picks this patch. You can find more S-tier picks on the Mobalytics Tier List for Patch 13.24. Please note the data we are using is mid-patch data, all servers and all ranks.

Orianna

Orianna is another S-tier pick in this patch, and she is a great champion for anyone who wants to learn or play a fun champion in the mid-lane.

Orianna’s strengths come during team fights, and in the later parts of the laning phase. She has great wave clear and poke, and she can pick people off and start skirmishes if they forget about her Q. In team fights, her Ultimate can CC multiple champions and deal a ton of damage simultaneously.

Orianna’s win rate on Patch 13.24 was 50.2% in 1,950,000 games.

Swain

Swain is another strong pick in League of Legends. His versatility and overall tankyness make him extremely hard to kill, and while he is tanking a ton of damage, he is also dishing out a lot too!

Swain is notoriously strong in team fights thanks to his Ultimate, which will protect him while he dishes out damage. Furthermore, he has built-in CC, and tools to follow up when his allies CC an enemy.

On Patch 13.24, Swain had a 53.5% win rate in 180,000 games.

Syndra

Syndra has been quite a strong champion lately, with her strengths coming from her damage output and her pick potential. She is also extremely simple to play, which is great for people who want to learn the mid lane in League of Legends.

She has really good pick potential throughout all stages of the game. In the laning phase, she can fish for E’s to set up her Jungler to gank her lane. In the mid and late game, her Q>E or E>Q combo is really strong and can turn the tide of any fight.

In Patch 13.24, Syndra achieved a win rate of 50.9% in 1,385,000 games.

Talon

Immobile mages have been dominating the meta, but Talon is a great pick into many of them. Talon’s one of the strongest mid-lane champions in the game and can get early first bloods- which sets his opponents behind.

Talon is a fantastic roaming champion in League. He is one of the best roamers as he can jump over walls, dodge vision, and easily assist his allies. Another benefit that Talon has is his strong wave clear, which allows him to push and roam quickly.

Talon’s win rate on Patch 13.24 was 51.5% in 485,000.

Sylas

The final champion on our list this patch is Sylas. Sylas has been doing well for quite some time, and that doesn’t really look to be changing any time soon. What makes Sylas so strong is how versatile his Ultimate really is.

Pick Sylas into any team composition with a strong AOE Ultimate, and he will deal a lot of damage. Taking a Malphite or Amumu’s Ultimate in a team fight, when going full AP, will deal so much damage to the enemy team that you could one-shot the squishy backline.

And finally, Sylas’ win rate on Patch 13.24 was 51.6% in 1,650,000 games.
