The Best Marvel Snap Decks
Welcome to our best decks tier list where I try to cover all of the best decks in Marvel Snap. In this article, I’ll be covering what I believe are the best decks in the meta, and potentially some honorable mentions.
The November season is just about to end, and the meta has mostly settled. While the November releases haven’t revolutionized the meta, we are seeing some cards make their way into the top tiers.
Most notably, Annihilus and Ms. Marvel are both finding some homes in top decks. While cards like Loki and Werewolf are still top meta cards, we’re definitely seeing the meta expand a bit.
Let’s get right into the tier list. Be sure to use the table of contents on the sidebar to jump to different decks.
- S – Collector Loki
- S – Bounce
- S – Darkhawk
- S – Control
- S – Deadpool
- A – Shuri Sauron
- A – Discard

- A – High Evo
- A – Cerebro 5
- A – Hela
- B – Shuri Nimrod
- B – Thanos Scam

- B – Junk
- C – Lockjaw
- C – Galactus Ramp
- C – Ongoing
- C – On Reveal
Disclaimers
With the recent change to the Infinite Leaderboard, the decks in this list will be more catered to Ladder than Conquest. Conquest is a very high skill format, but most players seem to prefer Ladder now that there’s Infinite ranks.
Credits to snap.fan for their deck builder and images sourced from their website.
Lastly, there are many more deck archetypes that we would consider to be D tier. While I put some decks in C tier, the list would get too long if I put every single archetype I can think of. As such, it’s mainly there to show some budget or alternative decks.
Collector Loki – S-Tier

- 1-cost: Agent 13, Maria Hill, Quinjet, Snowguard
- 2-cost: The Collector, Falcon, Sentinel
- 3-cost: Green Goblin, Werewolf by Night
- 4-cost: Shang-Chi, Loki
- 6-cost: America Chavez
Commentary:
Loki has survived the flurry of nerfs and is still the top deck in the game. While Mobius is back to slow down Loki, 3/3 is a much bigger opportunity cost than the 2/3 he was before.
Loki is definitely more prevalent at higher Infinite ranks, and while the deck is strong, there are a lot of other options that can compete.
With the nerfs to Angela and Elsa, the deck has moved away from that engine and switched to Werewolf. Werewolf easily reaches 11+ Power, and also synergizes well with the low-cost card generators.
Replacements:
- Nico Minoru (Over Agent 13)
- Shadow King/Cosmo (Over Green Goblin or Shang-Chi)
If you want to play a Loki deck that doesn’t run Werewolf, you can look to play more card generators.
- Mirage, Cosmo, Agent Coulson over Werewolf, Green Goblin, Falcon
Bounce – S-Tier
Bounce Decklist:
eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSG9vZCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQmFzdCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRm9yZ2UifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IktvcmcifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik5pY29NaW5vcnUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkJsYWNrV2lkb3cifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkZhbGNvbiJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiU2hhZG93S2luZyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiV2VyZXdvbGZCeU5pZ2h0In0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJCZWFzdCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRGFya2hhd2sifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkFtZXJpY2FDaGF2ZXoifV19
- 1-cost: The Hood, Bast, Forge, Korg, Nico Minoru
- 2-cost: Black Widow, Falcon, Shadow King
- 3-cost: Werewolf, Beast
- 4-cost: Darkhawk
- 6-cost: America Chavez
Commentary:
Bounce Darkhawk is back with Werewolf driving the deck forward. The engine of Angela, Elsa, and Kitty took big nerfs, but Werewolf is covering for them. Darkhawk is back as an efficient way to get points through cards like Korg and Black Widow.
Werewolf synergizes very well with low-cost On Reveal cards, which this deck can provide a ton of. Werewolf can easily reach 15 Power or even higher with this deck.
In terms of pure Power, this deck can compete with just about any deck.
Replacements:
- Nico Minoru can be any 1-cost On Reveal card like Iceman
- Shadow King can also be replaced, but he’s a cheap and powerful tech card that is also On Reveal.
Darkhawk – S-Tier
Darkhawk Decklist:
eyJOYW1lIjoiIiwiQ2FyZHMiOlt7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IktvcmcifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ikhvb2QifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlNoYWRvd0tpbmcifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlphYnUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkJsYWNrV2lkb3cifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlJvY2tzbGlkZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRGFya2hhd2sifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlNlbnRyeSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSXJvbkxhZCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQW5uaWhpbHVzIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJBbWVyaWNhQ2hhdmV6In0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJBbGlvdGgifV19
- 1-cost: The Hood, Korg
- 2-cost: Black Widow, Zabu, Shadow King
- 3-cost: Rock Slide
- 4-cost: Darkhawk, Iron Lad, Sentry
- 5-cost: Annihilus
- 6-cost: Alioth, America Chavez
Commentary:
While Darkhawk sees a lot of play in Bounce, the Zabu Darkhawk archetype is still very strong. There are a ton of different cards you can play in Zabu Darkhawk, as the deck is basically a “good cards” deck.
This version makes use of Annihilus and Sentry to make a big power play and also clog your opponent’s board. We have the core Darkhawk engine with Black Widow, Korg, and Rock Slide. Playing these cards on curve can make your opponent’s draws horrendous.
Zabu Darkhawk is also an extremely flexible archetype. You can run a lot of different cards, which I’ll cover below.
Replacements:
This list is very much based on Annihilus, but if you don’t have him, you can definitely look to run a variety of cards by dropping the engine of Annihilus, Sentry, and The Hood. Iron Lad and Alioth are also cards you can look to cut. Here are some examples of other options:
- Man-Thing, Luke Cage, Hazmat
- Stature, Black Bolt, Silver Samurai
- Shang-Chi, Enchantress
- Doctor Doom
- Invisible Woman, Killmonger, Absorbing Man
- Mystique, Devil Dinosaur
Control – S-Tier
Control Decklist:
eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTmVidWxhIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJOaWdodGNyYXdsZXIifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik1lZHVzYSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSmVmZlRoZUJhYnlMYW5kU2hhcmsifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlN0b3JtIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNc01hcnZlbCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSXJvbkxhZCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiUHJvZmVzc29yWCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTGVnaW9uIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJEckRvb20ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkFtZXJpY2FDaGF2ZXoifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkFsaW90aCJ9XX0=
- 1-cost: Nebula, Nightcrawler
- 2-cost: Medusa, Jeff
- 3-cost: Storm
- 4-cost: Ms. Marvel, Iron Lad
- 5-cost: Professor X, Legion
- 6-cost: Alioth, Doctor Doom, America Chavez
Commentary:
This Control deck looks to use location control tools along with the recently release Ms. Marvel. Location control has been an archetype for a long time, but the release of Ms. Marvel has been a nice buff compared to something like Klaw.
In general, the deck looks to win one of the side lanes with Storm or Professor X. Once that is accomplished, you can either play for all 3 locations, or win a second location with Alioth. Be wary for things that can get around location lockdown like Werewolf or Jeff.
I’m not extremely confident placing this deck in S-tier, but for now, the deck is showing decent promise.
Replacements:
Nightcrawler is the most replaceable card in the deck. Here are a couple options you can consider running instead:
- Psylocke
- Shadow King
Deadpool – S-Tier
Deadpool Destroy Decklist:
eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRGVhZHBvb2wifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkZvcmdlIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJOaWNvTWlub3J1In0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJYMjMifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkNhcm5hZ2UifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IldvbHZlcmluZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiS2lsbG1vbmdlciJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiVmVub20ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ikh1bGtidXN0ZXIifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlRhc2ttYXN0ZXIifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IktudWxsIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJEZWF0aCJ9XX0=
- 1-cost: Deadpool, Forge, Nico Minoru, X-23
- 2-cost: Carnage, Wolverine
- 3-cost: Killmonger, Venom
- 5-cost: Taskmaster
- 6+cost: Knull, Death
Commentary:
The release of Nico Minoru has made Destroy quite powerful. There are a lot of very good effects that Nico can provide to Destroy decks, making her a great inclusion. Because of this, Destroy is looking to be in quite a good spot for this month.
Armor isn’t particularly prevalent in the current meta, but Cosmo and Shadow King can definitely hurt this deck quite a bit.
Even still, the deck can output a ton of Power, and has multiple finishers you can go through such as Knull, Death, and Taskmaster.
Replacements:
- If you don’t have X-23 or Nico Minoru, look to run other Destroy cards like Nova or Bucky Barnes.
- Arnim Zola can replace Task Master
Shuri Sauron – A-Tier
Shuri Sauron Decklist:
eyJOYW1lIjoiIiwiQ2FyZHMiOlt7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkVib255TWF3In0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJaZXJvIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJMaXphcmQifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkFybW9yIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJTYXVyb24ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlR5cGhvaWRNYXJ5In0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJTaHVyaSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiVmlzaW9uIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJUYXNrbWFzdGVyIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJSZWRTa3VsbCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQWxpb3RoIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJBbWVyaWNhQ2hhdmV6In1dfQ==
- 1-cost: Zero, Ebony Maw
- 2-cost: Armor, Lizard
- 3-cost: Sauron
- 4-cost: Shuri, Typhoid Mary
- 5-cost: Taskmaster, Vision, Red Skull
- 6-cost: Alioth
Commentary:
Shuri is still just a solid deck. The deck received two recent nerfs in Shuri and Sauron, both losing 1 Power. Even still, the deck is still a powerhouse and is basically the baseline for Power in the game.
Shang-Chi and Shadow King are both common in this meta, so Shuri may move down a bit over time, but the deck is still just simple, effective, and strong.
Replacements:
She-Hulk can be a decent alternative to Alioth, but she only reaches 18 Power which a lot of decks can overcome quite easily.
Discard – A-Tier
Discard Decklist:
eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQmxhZGUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlN3YXJtIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJDb2xsZWVuV2luZyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiV29sdmVyaW5lIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNb3JiaXVzIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJMYWR5U2lmIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJEYWtlbiJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRHJhY3VsYSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSGVsbGNvdyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTW9kb2sifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkFtZXJpY2FDaGF2ZXoifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkFwb2NhbHlwc2UifV19
- 1-cost: Blade
- 2-cost: Mobius, Wolverine, Swarm, Colleen Wing
- 3-cost: Daken, Lady Sif
- 4-cost: Dracula, Hell Cow
- 5-cost: M.O.D.O.K.
- 6-cost: Apocalypse, America Chavez
Commentary:
Discard has always been a solid and consistent deck, but Mobius took away Swarm. With Mobius nerfed and Hell Cow being buffed, Discard is getting a nice boost of power.
While Discard is very strong and consistent, it’s just a smidge below the top decks in S-tier.
Replacements:
- Daken can be replaced with just about and card you want. Gambit, Storm, etc.
Surfer – A-Tier
Surfer Decklist:
eyJOYW1lIjoiIiwiQ2FyZHMiOlt7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ikdob3N0U3BpZGVyIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJTbm93Z3VhcmQifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IktyYXZlbiJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiU2hhZG93S2luZyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiU2lsayJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiUG9sYXJpcyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiS2lsbG1vbmdlciJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiU2lsdmVyU3VyZmVyIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJKdWdnZXJuYXV0In0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJXZXJld29sZkJ5TmlnaHQifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlNwaWRlck1hbiJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiU2VyYSJ9XX0=
- 1-cost: Ghost-Spider, Snowguard
- 2-cost: Kraven, Shadow King, Silk
- 3-cost: Silver Surfer, Juggernaut, Killmonger, Werewolf, Polaris, Spider-Man
- 5-cost: Sera
Commentary:
Sera Surfer is finally making a comeback, largely thanks to Werewolf. There is an abundance of On Reveal cards to buff up Werewolf, and this deck simply outputs high Power while also keeping room for tech cards.
The Move package also makes it way into the deck as Kraven can get very high with the help of Werewolf. Just be careful and don’t Shadow King your own Kraven.
Replacements:
Ghost-Spider and Snowguard can be replaced with any 1-cost On Reveal such as Iceman, Spider-Ham, etc.
(Note that Snowguard is very good in the deck as she generates two 3-cost cards to play situationally)
High Evo – A-Tier
Decklist:
eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiU3Vuc3BvdCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTWlzdHlLbmlnaHQifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkFybW9yIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJTaG9ja2VyIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJDb3NtbyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTWFnaWsifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkN5Y2xvcHMifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkhpZ2hFdm9sdXRpb25hcnkifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkxlZWNoIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJTaGVIdWxrIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJIdWxrIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJJbmZpbmF1dCJ9XX0=
- 1-cost: Sunspot, Misty Knight
- 2-cost: Armor, Shocker
- 3-cost: Magik, Cosmo, Cyclops
- 4-cost: High Evolutionary
- 5-cost: Leech
- 6-cost: She-Hulk, Hulk, The Infinaut
Commentary:
With the nerf to Mobius, High Evo can transition back toward a deck with She-Hulk, The Infinaut, and Magik. This will let you soak up 6 Energy on Sunspot, and drop a whopping 29 Power on turn 7.
Leech is also great for the deck to avoid things like Legion or Scarlet Witch hitting your Limbo location.
Replacements:
You can run a High Evo deck without the Magik/She-Hulk/The Infinaut package, running other cards like Storm, Doctor Doom, etc.
Cerebro 5 – A-Tier
Decklist:
eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTHVrZUNhZ2UifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik1lZHVzYSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTGl6YXJkIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJTaWxrIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJDZXJlYnJvIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJQb2xhcmlzIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJTcGlkZXJNYW4ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IldhdmUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkVuY2hhbnRyZXNzIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNaWxlc01vcmFsZXMifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik1zTWFydmVsIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJEckRvb20ifV19
- 2-cost: Luke Cage, Medusa
- 3-cost: Cerebro, Polaris, Spider-Man, Wave
- 4-cost: Enchantress, Miles Morales, Ms. Marvel
- 6-cost: Doctor Doom
Commentary:
The release of Ms. Marvel has turned Cerebro into a surprisingly competitive deck. Cerebro has a strong matchup into Loki, and Cerebro 5 is a bit better then Cerebro 3 in the general meta.
Polaris and Spider-Man can disrupt enemy cards, and Enchantress can be a strong tech card for some matchups.
Cerebro 2 and 3 are still playable decks as well, but all the hype is on Cerebro 5.
Replacements:
You can replace Enchantress with just about any 5 Power card if you’re worried about the Loki matchup.
Hela – A-Tier
Hela Decklist:
eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSW52aXNpYmxlV29tYW4ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik1hZ2lrIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJDcnlzdGFsIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJJcm9uTGFkIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNb2RvayJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSXJvbk1hbiJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSW5maW5hdXQifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkxpdmluZ1RyaWJ1bmFsIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJPbnNsYXVnaHQifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkhlbGEifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkFtZXJpY2FDaGF2ZXoifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkdpZ2FudG8ifV19
- 2-cost: Invisible Woman
- 3-cost: Magik, Crystal
- 4-cost: Iron Lad
- 5-cost: Iron Man, Modok
- 6+-cost: Hela, Onslaught, America Chavez, The Living Tribunal, Giganto, The Infinaut
Commentary:
Hela is quite simply a combo deck. You have two basic plans:
- Invisible Woman into Modok -> Hela.
- Magik into Iron Man + Onslaught + The Living Tribunal
Alioth is less common in the meta, so Hela can do well, but Cosmo will shut down the deck. Combo decks are back in favor due to it being able to overpower Loki decks.
Replacements:
Electro can replace Crystal, but he plays more into the Iron Man + Onslaught combo than Hela. Crystal helps you hopefully draw into either combo, as playing her on 3 does not ruin your curve in your combos. She also draws an extra card that Modok can discard for Hela.
Shuri Nimrod – B-Tier
Shuri Nimrod Decklist:
eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiWDIzIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJXb2x2ZXJpbmUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkJ1Y2t5QmFybmVzIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJDYXJuYWdlIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJWZW5vbSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiS2lsbG1vbmdlciJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRGVhdGhsb2sifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlNodXJpIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJOaW1yb2QifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkRlc3Ryb3llciJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQXJuaW1ab2xhIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJBbWVyaWNhQ2hhdmV6In1dfQ==
- 1-cost: Forge, Ghost-Spider, Human Torch
- 2-cost: Carnage, Multiple Man
- 3-cost: Venom, Deathlok
- 4-cost: Shuri, Phoenix Force
- 5-cost: Nimrod
- 6-cost: Arnim Zola, America Chavez
Commentary:
Shuri Nimrod decks have evolved to include Phoenix Force in the deck as well. The deck can still simply win by going Shuri, into Nimrod, into double destroy on turn 6. However, with Phoenix Force, the deck has more options to play different things like reviving Multiple Man or Human Torch.
Ghost-Spider is also a nice card to dodge tech cards like Shang-Chi, Armor, or Cosmo, but your Human Torch won’t survive a Killmonger.
Replacements:
You can look to play a Shuri Nimrod deck without Phoenix Force by cutting the Move cards and adding in Destroy cards.
- Put in: X-23, Bucky Barnes, Wolverine, Killmonger, Destroyer
- Take out: Forge, Ghost-Spider, Human Torch, Multiple Man, Phoenix Force

- 1-cost: Nico Minoru
- 2-cost: Elsa Bloodstone, Psylocke, Armor, Jeff
- 4-cost: Iron Lad
- 5-cost: Blue Marvel, Professor X, Devil Dinosaur, Vision
- 6-cost: Alioth, Thanos
Commentary:
This deck was considered the best deck for a brief period of time. Unfortunately, with the nerf to Mobius, Loki decks are back in full force, and the nerf to Elsa Bloodstone also hurt this deck.
While you can get a lot of wins with Professor X + Alioth, the deck can just simply lose in Power to other more explosive decks.
Replacements:
- Nico Minoru: Other strong 2-cost cards such as Luke Cage, Mobius
- Armor: Once again you can replace Armor with Luke Cage/Mobius
- Iron Lad: Tech cards such as Rogue/Shang-Chi/Enchantress
Spectrum: If you want to play a build that’s more Ongoing with Spectrum, look to add in cards like Ant-Man, Mister Fantastic, Klaw, etc and replace some of the control tools to do so.
Move Alioth – B-Tier
Move Alioth Decklist:
eyJOYW1lIjoiRGVjayAxIiwiQ2FyZHMiOlt7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IktpdHR5UHJ5ZGUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik5pZ2h0Y3Jhd2xlciJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSmVmZlRoZUJhYnlMYW5kU2hhcmsifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlNpbGsifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkVsc2FCbG9vZHN0b25lIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJBbmdlbGEifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IktyYXZlbiJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiU3BpZGVyTWFuIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJWaXNpb24ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkFtZXJpY2FDaGF2ZXoifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkRyRG9vbSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQWxpb3RoIn1dfQ==
- 1-cost: Kitty Pryde, Nightcrawler
- 2-cost: Angela, Kraven, Jeff, Silk
- 3-cost: Spider-Man
- 5-cost: Vision
- 6-cost: Alioth, Doctor Doom, America Chavez
Commentary:
Move Alioth has fallen out of favor quite a bit. The nerf to Elsa and Angela have hit the deck quite hard. We may see the archetype adapt, but other decks are simply much stronger at the moment.
If you enjoy moving cards around, you’re likely better off playing the Surfer Werewolf deck with Kraven instead.
Replacements:
- Jean Gray can be added into the deck to disrupt your opponent while enacting your main gameplan of stacking one lane with Movement cards.
- Legion can replace Alioth, as they are both strong finishers for the deck. They are completely different cards, but empower the deck in similar ways.
- If you don’t want to run Elsa Bloodstone, you can look to add in cards like Crossbones or Miles Morales. These can help you gain priority to finish the game with Alioth.
Negative – C-Tier

- 3-cost: Ironheart, Mystique
- 4-cost: Mister Negative, Wong
- 5-cost: Iron Man, White Tiger, Black Panther, Jane Foster

Commentary:
Ravonna Renslayer is seeing some play in Negative decks after Mobius was nerfed. While the deck lacks consistency, you can definitely high roll games and look to leverage the snap mechanic to climb.
Junk – B-Tier
Junk Decklist:

- 1-cost: The Hood, Nebula
- 2-cost: Jeff
- 3-cost: Storm, Debrii
- 4-cost: Shang-Chi, Ms. Marvel, Sentry
- 5-cost: Professor X, Valkyrie, Annihilus
- 6-cost: Alioth
Commentary:
The Junk archetype is making a small comeback due to the release of Annihilus. I’m not sure whether this version of the deck is stronger than playing without Annihilus and playing the Goblins instead.
Either way, the deck is mostly a control deck, except it looks to use more “junk” cards like Debrii to clog the enemy board. The main issue with this list compared to the Control list above is that when things don’t line up well, you just aren’t putting enough power on the board.
Lockjaw – C-Tier
Lockjaw Decklist:
eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiV2FzcCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiU3BpZGVySGFtIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJTcGlkZXJNYW4ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IktpbGxtb25nZXIifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkxvY2tqYXcifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IldhdmUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlNoYW5nQ2hpIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJEZXZpbERpbm9zYXVyIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJWaXNpb24ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlRoYW5vcyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTWFnbmV0byJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRGVhdGgifV19
- 0-cost: Wasp
- 2-cost: Spider-Ham
- 3-cost: Lockjaw, Killmonger, Wave, Spider-Man
- 4-cost: Shang-Chi
- 5-cost: Devil Dinosaur, Vision
- 6+cost: Thanos, Magneto, Death
Commentary:
Thanos Lockjaw is once again the prevalent Lockjaw version after the nerfs to the High Evo Lockjaw deck.
This deck excels at high rolling games through Lockjaw and the Infinity Stones, but the deck can be inconsistent. You really have to leverage your snaps well to find success with this deck. Also this deck doesn’t care about Mobius which is nice.
Galactus Ramp – C-Tier
Galactus Decklist:
eyJOYW1lIjoiR2FsYWN0dXMiLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTmVidWxhIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJTdW5zcG90In0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJKZWZmVGhlQmFieUxhbmRTaGFyayJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiV2F2ZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRWxlY3RybyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSXJvbkxhZCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSG9iZ29ibGluIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJBbWVyaWNhQ2hhdmV6In0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJHYWxhY3R1cyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQWxpb3RoIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJEckRvb20ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik9kaW4ifV19
- 1-cost: Sunspot, Nebula
- 2-cost: Jeff
- 3-cost: Electro, Wave
- 4-cost: Iron Lad
- 5-cost: Hobgoblin
- 6-cost: Alioth, Doctor Doom, Galactus, Odin, America Chavez
Commentary:
Galactus and Electro Ramp have merged together once again. Alioth makes for a great finisher for both Galactus and Electro game plans.
The deck has a lot of options, and it can be very difficult to play around everything. If you play around Galactus, maybe you lose to Doctor Doom -> Odin. Or you can get sniped by Galactus and lose to Alioth on turn 6. Galactus is back.
Galactus was nerfed to a 6/5, which makes the deck MUCH weaker than before. However, the deck still has a lot of play lines, so you’re not all in on Galactus. I expect the deck to still see some play, although it has fallen quite low in the tier list.
Replacements:
- Arnim Zola / Black Panther
- Professor X
- Daredevil
Ongoing – C-Tier
Ongoing Decklist:
eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQW50TWFuIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJRdWluamV0In0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJBcm1vciJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTGl6YXJkIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNeXN0aXF1ZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQ29zbW8ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik1vYml1c01Nb2JpdXMifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik1zTWFydmVsIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJLbGF3In0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJPbnNsYXVnaHQifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlNwZWN0cnVtIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJBbWVyaWNhQ2hhdmV6In1dfQ==
- 1-cost: Ant-Man, Quinjet
- 2-cost: Armor, Lizard
- 3-cost: Mystique, Cosmo, Mobius M. Mobius
- 4-cost: Ms. Marvel
- 5-cost: Klaw
- 6-cost: Onslaught, Spectrum, America Chavez
Commentary:
In the past, Ongoing decks relied on Professor X and Destroyer to win games, but that has been too weak for a long time now.
With the release of Ms. Marvel, you can try to compete on points instead.
While the deck isn’t amazing, it’s still competitive enough to be played, and with more support, we may see the deck rise up the tier list. The buff of Spectrum makes this deck a bit more interesting to try, but there are likely less budget decks that can utilize Spectrum to higher effect.
On Reveal – C-Tier
On Reveal Decklist:
eyJOYW1lIjoiTW9zdCBQb3B1bGFyIERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQXJuaW1ab2xhIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJCbGFja1BhbnRoZXIifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkRyRG9vbSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSWNlbWFuIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJJcm9uaGVhcnQifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik9kaW4ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlNjb3JwaW9uIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJTdG9ybSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiU3Vuc3BvdCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiV2hpdGVUaWdlciJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiV29sZnNiYW5lIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJXb25nIn1dfQ==
- 1-cost: Sunspot, Iceman
- 2-cost: Scorpion
- 3-cost: Ironheart, Wolfsbane, Storm
- 4-cost: Wong
- 5-cost: White Tiger, Black Panther
- 6-cost: Arnim Zola, Doctor Doom, Odin
Commentary:
This deck is honestly more of a Tier 4 deck, but I thought I should include at least one deck that is more budget friendly for newer players. The deck doesn’t use any many Series 3 cards, and doesn’t have any Series 4 or 5 cards.
While this deck isn’t amazing compared to the others, it can definitely still win some games.
Methodology
We’ve tried our best to evaluate these decks based on a few key factors:
- Overall Win %: This looks to see simply how often a deck wins. It doesn’t matter if you only win 1 cube a game if your win % is 70%. You can simply spam games to Infinite.
- Consistency: Consistency is quite hard to determine for Snap due to the snap mechanics. You can always retreat and make up for it if what your deck does is extremely powerful, albeit difficult to pull off. Even still, being able to enact a similar game plan repeatedly leans to an overall smoother climb.
- Flexibility: For Marvel Snap, flexibility is somewhat equivalent to “surprise factor.” A deck is flexible if you have a multitude of options that your opponent cannot easily counter/predict. This means you aren’t always enacting 1 gameplan every game, but can adapt based on the situation.
Note: For numbers like win %, we would like to credit sources like Snap.fan and Marvelsnap.pro for their statistics and tracking.
