As the NFL playoff bracket shows us, that scenario is working out much better for Cincinnati than for Pittsburgh. does that mean you should back Jake Browning in Saturday’s Bengals vs Steelers props?
The 7-7 Steelers are 0-2 straight up with Mitch Trubisky under center instead of Kenny Pickett. They’ve fallen to the ninth seed in the AFC and are handing the reins to third stringer Mason Rudolph for this game. The 8-6 Bengals, though, are 3-1 since Browning replaced Joe Burrow. Bengals vs Steelers Props #1: Pat Freiermuth Receptions
Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth has caught at least three passes in each of the past four games and in six of the last seven contests. This week he gets a Cincinnati defense that is the worst in the NFL at covering the TE, allowing a league-high 97 receptions and 1,015 yards. Freiermuth torched the Bengals for nine receptions and 120 yards in Week 12.
Since Pat Freiermuth went 9/120/0 against CIN in Week 12, he’s posted 3/29/0, 3/18/0 & 3/16/0, flopping badly vs. IND. Snaps & routes have increased each week since coming off IR. Gets CIN again Saturday. They’ve allowed most catches and yards, second-most fantasy points to TEs.

Despite that reality, he remains locked in again this week at 2.5 receptions in the NFL props. Rudolph will be looking for safe, short passes and Freiermuth is going to be an inviting choice.
- Bengals vs Steelers Prop Picks: Pat Freiermuth over 2.5 receptions -140 (1 unit)
Bengals vs Steelers Props #2: Tee Higgins Receiving Yards
Higgins is set with a receiving yardage total of 58.5 yards for this game. He’s gone over that number each of the past two games.

This week, Ja’Marr Chase (separated shoulder) is out. That makes Higgins WR1 in the Bengals offensive scheme. And Cincinnati coach Zac Taylor let Browning air it out 42 times last week. Higgins figures to be getting plenty of targets and is a good bet for Saturday’s Bengals vs Steelers props.
- Bengals vs Steelers Prop Picks: Tee Higgins Over 58.5 receiving yards -110 (1 unit)
