Bank of Ireland hires two national account managers

Bank of Ireland for Intermediaries has hired two national account managers who will join its intermediary sales team.

The lender’s broker-only arm says Dave Rogers joins the business bringing over 20 years of financial services experience.

He has spent 13 years at Barclays, most recently as intermediary business director and before that as intermediary partnership director.

Louise Weiss becomes a national account manager after joining the bank earlier this year as a business development manager.

Weiss will focus on distributor relationships, where the lender says she will be able to pull on her experience as a mortgage broker working with customers on complex cases.

Both managers take up their posts on 4 December.

Bank of Ireland for Intermediaries head of sales, marketing and distribution Alan Longhorn says: “Both Dave and Louise bring complementary skills and experience to the team and will play an important role in further developing, enhancing and growing our intermediary relationships.

He adds that the pair “will be working closely with our network and mortgage club partners to provide tailored intermediary support.”
