The Association of Short Term Lenders (ASTL) has appointed two new members to its executive board.
Shawbrook Bank’s Gavin Seaholme and Greymax’s Alan Margolis were elected by members from a record number of candidates and votes.
In addition, Ray Cohen from Jackson Cohen has been re-elected as an associate member.
The new members of the ASTL board take up their responsibilities from today 1st September.
They replace Scott Marshall (Roma Finance) and Steve Barber (Bridging Finance Solutions) who retire from their executive duties having served their maximum terms.
ASTL chief executive Vic Jannels says: “I would like, on behalf of the executive and the ASTL, to say a heartfelt thanks for the magnificent contribution that Gavin and Alan have made.
“I would also like to congratulate Gavin and Alan on their election to the board, and Ray for his re-election.
“We have achieved a lot with the association in the last year, but there is plenty still to do in promoting the interests of the short-term mortgage market and our customers.
“I know that Gavin and Alan will be valuable additions to the board and will play an important role in helping us to continue to raise the profile and the reputation of the sector.”
