Arsenal are looking to reclaim top spot in the Premier League table when they welcome West Ham United to the Emirates Stadium on Thursday evening (20:15).

The Gunners spent Christmas Day in top spot thanks to a 1-1 draw with Liverpool on Saturday, while the Hammers ran out 2-0 winners over Manchester United, signing off at the London Stadium in 2023 in perfect fashion.

Arsenal vs West Ham United Prediction

  • Arsenal to win and both teams to score @ 9/5
  • Mohammed Kudus to score anytime @ 4/1

Team News

Kai Havertz will be suspended for the Gunners on Thursday, while Jurrien Timber, Fabio Vieira, Thomas Partey and Takehiro Tomiyasu are still sidelined for the hosts.

As for the Hammers, Michail Antonio represents David Moyes’ sole injury concern as he continues to recover from knee ligament damage.

Match Odds

Arsenal are 1/3 to claim all three points, while West Ham are 17/2 to make it back-to-back wins and the draw is priced up at 4/1.

Gabriel Jesus is favourite to score anytime at 13/10, while both teams to score can be backed at 5/6.

Arsenal to win and both teams to score @ 9/5

The in-form Gunners have won seven of nine top-flight matches at the Emirates Stadium this season, including each of their last five.

However, both teams have scored in six of their nine home Premier League games in 2023-24, so there appears to be scope for West Ham to get on the scoresheet. The Gunners share the joint-best defensive record in the Premier League with Liverpool, but have only kept clean sheets in a third of their games at home.

Meanwhile, the Hammers have scored in eight of their nine road trips in the league, but come into this contest with weak away form, having lost four of their last six.

Mohammed Kudus to score anytime @ 4/1

Mohammed Kudus has scored four goals in his last five league appearances.

The Ghana international was on the scoresheet against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup earlier this season, and could be out to prove a point to the Gunners again.

The former Ajax man was on the scoresheet last time out against Manchester United, and he’s scored four goals in his last appearances at the London Stadium.
