The formula is supposed to be a hybrid between a lipgloss and a lip oil that is peppermint-scented that isn’t tacky, hydrates, and has high-shine with “lasting power.” The brand doesn’t have a lot of insight on pigmentation level, other than calling the formula “sheer genius,” but then several shades (particularly cream finish shades) are shown fairly opaque.

The coverage varied from shade to shade with most of them being medium to semi-opaque in coverage and some of the shimmery shades being sheerer.

The texture was smooth, spreadable, and non-sticky, which made it comfortable to apply and to wear, but it had enough substance to it (without being heavy) that it stayed in place and had a decent wear time for a gloss (three to four hours). Some shades applied really well while a few seemed more prone to settling into lip lines. I found the plushness of the texture to help prevent the gloss from getting into my deeper lip lines. The formula also felt hydrating over time.
