Detroit dominating all comers
Jahmyr Gibbs ran for 90 yards and two touchdowns in Detroit’s 24-6 victory over Indianapolis. David Montgomery also added 37 yards and a score as the two backs became the first duo in NFL history with 10 rushing TDs each in consecutive seasons.
Despite having lost Aidan Hutchinson and Alex Anzalone, the Lions defense has kept its opponents out of the end zone for 10 straight quarters. In control of the NFC North at 10-1, Dan Campbell’s club will look to snap a seven-game losing streak on Thanksgiving Day.

Bears pick up 5th straight loss
Caleb Williams passed for 340 yards and two TDs in a 30-27 OT defeat to the Vikings on Sunday. The No. 1 overall pick rallied the Bears back from a 11-point deficit with less than two minutes to go. However, the offense stalled in overtime, allowing Minnesota to kick the game-winning field goal.
With five straight losses and counting, head coach Matt Eberflus is almost certainly going to be fired. In the meantime, Chicago fans can be thankful that their rookie QB has looked much sharper under new offensive coordinator Thomas Brown over the past two games.
Detroit vs Chicago
Detroit is a 10.5-point home favorite at Ford Field, where they haven’t won on Thanksgiving Day since 2016, and the over/under is set at 49-points. Ben Johnson’s offense is the top scoring unit (33.6 PPG) in the NFL. Gibbs and Montgomery, otherwise known as “Sonic and Knuckles”, are averaging 152.2 yards per game (third in the league), and the Lions rank 6th in passing offense (242.5).
Aaron Glenn’s defense is limiting opponents to the fifth-fewest points per game (17.7) after not allowing a TD in 10 straight quarters. Chicago is also top ten in scoring defense (18.7 PPG), but they just gave up 30 to Minnesota at home.

Best Bet
This is a hefty 10.5-point spread but no one has been better at covering than the Lions this year. We’ll take Detroit to cover (-10.5) and end their seven-game Thanksgiving Day losing streak, with the OVER 49.
