Land Registry portal to give clearer timescales

Land Registry portal to give clearer timescales

The Land Registry has updated its portal to give more accurate estimated timescales for users seeking to register a property title.

It says it is now calculating the estimated completion dates differently in order to give more clarity to users, following feedback.

The Land Registry says: “The date displayed will be more specific to the application type that was submitted.”

In further updates to the portal, it will be easier for users to filter applications to show cases where more information has been requested before they can proceed.

It should also be easier to spot applications that are at risk of being cancelled because requested information has not been supplied yet.

The portal will now allow users to submit larger files when asked to upload documents.
