12.40 – Revived Inn Novices’ Hurdle – 1m7f
Gary Moore’s JUNKANOO displayed good form on the flat and only found one too good when second on his hurdles debut at Ascot. The winner has gone close since, so with improvement on the cards, he is fancied to go one better.
Tips: Junkanoo
13.10 – Harry Philips Birthday Novices’ Handicap Chase – 2m3f
SCARFACE showed a bit more in his latest chase start when third and looks well treated based on his hurdles form. OXYGEN justified favouritism when scoring on his return to chasing last month and should have room for improvement.
Tips: Scarface, Oxygen
13.40 – Eleanor Hunnisett Memorial Maiden Hurdle – 2m4f
IN D’OR ran below expectations when he finished a distant third on his stable debut in January, but he’s been given plenty of time since, and his stable is in good form at the moment. This is a weak race, so it is a good opportunity for him to open his account.
Tips: In D’or
14.10 – G.E.White & Sons Agricultural Buildings Handicap Chase – 3m1f
MOVETHECHAINS finished a distant third in the Southern National last time out, but that was a step in the right direction from previous efforts, and he’s back on his last winning mark. He must be competitive, while ALMAZHAR GARDE has the class to win this if he’s on a going day.
Tips: Movethechains, Almazhar Garde
14.40 – In Memory Of Susan Corrigan Handicap Hurdle – 1m7f
ATREIDES ran a decent race behind a subsequent winner when third at Taunton and was second on handicap debut beforehand. He should have no issue dropping down in distance and merits consideration.
Tips: Atreides
15.10 – Weatherbys & Birdie Calendars Handicap Chase – 2m3f
EURKASH is 11Ib below his last winning mark, and despite being well beaten into fourth last time, he could get back on track with Gavin Sheehan booked to ride. SIR ROCK is an interesting chase debutant and could figure with a clear round.
Tips: Eurkash, Sir Rock
