- Bally Bet completed its transition to Kambi sports betting technology
- The sports betting operator is live in Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Indiana, New York, and Virginia.
- Bally Bet has also launched in Ohio
Bally Bet has reached the other side and successfully completed its transition to Kambi’s sports betting platform.
After more than a month of being offline, the new Bally Bet online sports betting app is once again live, and has also launched in a new state. Bally Bet is live in Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Indiana, New York, and Virginia after being offline since June 30 to transition to Kambi’s sports betting platform.
It also launched for the first time in Ohio. Bally Bet inked a 10-year sports betting partnership with the Cleveland Browns in April 2022.
Bally Bet is Back
Bally’s and Kambi announced its partnership in May. Under the terms of the deal, Kambi supports the expansion and enhancement of Bally’s online and retail sportsbooks. It put an end to Bally’s attempt to create its own successful in-house sports betting product.
Separately, Bally’s entered into an agreement with White Hat Gaming to provide its player account management platform solution to the operator.
The new Bally Bet online sports betting app is being promoted on its website but the company has yet to put out an official release. However, White Hat Gaming published a press release today announcing the launch of Bally Bet Ohio.
Included in the release is a statement from Robeson Reeves, CEO at Bally’s Corporation, touting the operator’s partnership with White Hat Gaming.
“As we continue to expand our online presence across the US, adding to our well established retail footprint, it is a pleasure to have our PAM provided by an equally ambitious and innovative company. We are thrilled to be working with White Hat Gaming and look forward to accelerating our growth through its revolutionary platform which will aid us in becoming the premier, full-service, vertically integrated casinos and resorts, online sports betting, and iGaming company,” he noted.
Customers will have to re-register their accounts after the sports betting operator closed player accounts on June 30 ahead of its technology transition.
Now Live in Seven States
With its launch in Ohio, Bally Bet is now live in seven states, with its largest market in New York.
Bally’s was able to procure an online sports betting license in New York, but was the last of the nine operators to launch. It also boasts the smallest market share in the Empire State.
Bally Bet launched in July 2022 in the Empire State and has only recorded $16.37 million in total handle and $917,669 in gross gaming revenue. Compare that to Resorts World, the second smallest operator in New York, that has notched $93.8 million in handle and $5.16 million in gross gaming revenue since July 2022.
The online sports betting operator is also live in Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio, and Virginia.
