1. Melbourne Museum
Check out real dinosaur bones at Melbourne Museum. The ‘Dinosaur Walk’ permanent exhibition features ten dinosaur skeletons, three pterosaurs, and other select megafauna artefacts such as huge teeth!
Visit the fearsome dinosaur, Horridus, the world’s most complete triceratops fossil. And from June 2024, see the interactive exhibition of a 66-million-year-old Tyrannosaurus named Victoria. Victoria the T. rex is an extraordinary addition, showcasing the largest real T. rex fossil ever displayed in Australia.

2. Jurassic World: The Exhibition
Step into the prehistoric world at Jurassic World: The Exhibition, an experience inspired by the much loved film, Jurassic Park.
Embark on an adventure to Isla Nublar with your little explorers this winter. From Raptors to T-Rex, get ready to experience the closest thing to real dinosaurs.

3. Dinosaur World
Dinosaur World is a small theme park with dinosaur animatronics and dinosaur-related activities.

4. Dinosaur Park Yarraville
At the McNish Reserve Yarraville you can meet Mimi the Muttaburrasaurus, slide down the tail and hide in dinosaur eggs!

5. Megasaurus Playground
This dinosaur-themed playground is one of Australia’s best playgrounds and features a huge dinosaur skeleton climbing frame as its centrepiece.

6. Portosaurus Playground
A beady-eyed dinosaur pokes its head out in Garden City Reserve Port Melbourne playground.

7. Dinosaur Park, Truganina
Melbourne’s biggest prehistoric themed park is the Dinosaur Park at Stockland Grandview in Truganina.
Dinosaur Park has a larger than life dinosaur head in the ground, and a skeleton, fossil, dino foot prints, a wobbly dinosaur and lots of play equipment. There are also picnic / BBQ facilities.

8. Bulla Miniature Rail
Do you have a little one who loves trains AND dinosaurs?
Every third Sunday of the month head to Bulla Miniature Railway for cheap dino fun on a miniature train!

9. Dino Bounce at Inflatable Fun Park
DinoBounce is an exciting new attraction at Inflatable Fun Park in Melbourne’s South East.
